Which day should I come for treatment?

IVF treatment starts on the 2nd or 3rd day of the menstrual period. Before the treatment, we would like our patients to come for a preliminary examination in order to determine their process.

Which tests should be done?

You do not need to do any tests before the IVF examination. Depending on the causes of infertility and the condition of the couple, the necessary tests will be requested from you by the specialists and in this way, the most appropriate treatment process will be decided for you.

How long should I come to the clinic?
The IVF treatment process lasts approximately 16-21 days and during this period, especially the expectant mother should be able to come to the center. Therefore, patients coming from out of town or abroad should adjust their calendars according to this process and be able to come to the center during the treatment.

The process starts with an examination on the 2nd or 3rd day of menstruation, continues with the use of medication until the 11th or 12th day, and on the 11th or 12th day, eggs are collected from the expectant mother. These eggs are then combined with sperm from the expectant father in a laboratory environment and fertilization takes place. After fertilization, the embryo is monitored from day 1 to day 5 and certain criteria such as the health of the embryo and whether it has divided or not are evaluated.

When it is determined that the embryos are suitable for transfer, it is time to transfer them to the mother's uterus. 12-14 days after the embryo transfer, a blood test is performed to determine whether the pregnancy has occurred, but this can be done by any health institution that performs blood tests.

What to Do After Pregnancy?

If the tests show that the pregnancy has taken place, you can now return to your home city or country to see an obstetrician. However, you should not forget to inform the specialists about the in vitro fertilization nature of the pregnancy. This will enable the doctor where you live to set up a special program and check-up schedule for you.

Is Airport Transfer Possible?

If you do not have the opportunity to come to our IVF center by your own means, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel if you inform our team in advance.

When Can I Go Back After the Transfer?

A 2-day rest period after the embryo transfer is recommended, especially for those who live in remote locations and who will need to travel by road for hours and need to travel by plane. After the IVF treatment, it is necessary to ensure that the embryo can attach to the uterus, and in this process, the expectant mother should not do too heavy work, travel too long, stand, pay attention to her health and nutrition, and spend a few days away from stress and have a regular sleep process. If these conditions are observed, the embryo will have a higher chance of attaching to the uterus.
